Evaluation Policy
Consistent with NEP 2020's emphasis on Competency-Based Education (CBE) and the Uttarakhand Board guidelines, our assessment system moves away from high-stakes, single-point examinations towards a continuous, holistic evaluation model.
Students are evaluated across four vibrant dimensions: Academic Learning, Creative Expression, Physical Fitness, and Socio-Emotional Development.
No student in Grades 1–5 is detained or failed — aligned perfectly with the No Detention Policy (RTE Act, 2009). Growth is nurtured, not punished.
Formative Assessment (FA)
Continuous classroom observations, oral tests, written exercises, and vibrant projects — beautifully conducted twice per term.
Summative Assessment (SA)
Fulfilling end-of-term examinations covering all subjects. Results are transparently shared as grade-level reports during dedicated parent counselling sessions.
Holistic Progress Card
Fully aligned with NEP 2020's visionary framework — these beautiful reports cover academics, arts, sports, social conduct, and student self-reflection!
